umm, a good action adventure RPG on the PC i would not know so much but try knights of the old republic for PC you may get a kick out of that.
The Witcher, or perhaps Gothic? Not sure if Diablo 2 would suit, but it's always good to wear out your left mouse button!
Diablo II's a good bet... Champions of Norrath was hack and slash with a slightly more comprehensive RPG element than a game like Gauntlet.

Having never played champions of norath, but looking at videos for it, it looks like a diablo clone.

Diablo 1/2, sacred 1/2, darkstone, and uhh I've demoed so many of these types of games that most of the names escape me there's probably hundreds of diablo clones out there

I think you mean a "Hack and Slash RPG" at least if your using Champions of Norrath as your gauge...
I'd say Diablo 2, Titans Quest or Sacred if your into those kinda things.

oblivion and morrowind are to slow paced to be called an action rpg dont get me wrong iam not sayying there bad games there really good games i just thought i would point that out 
hmmm Oblivion might be okay, I wouldnt hold your breath though its not like what you are looking for >.> sorry now if you were looking for ps2/3 WELL thats my department (sorta I more just have a cubicle really)
