With BlazBlue: Continuum Shift due to come out in the US July 20th, (according to www.Gamestop.com) I figured I would finally get what I have been desperately needing since I picked up Mortal Kombat for Genesis as a wee lad... and arcade stick. I have been doing some snooping around on the web and came to realize this is a lot less straight forward than I had thought. It appears if you don't pay at least $80 for an arcade pad its going to breakdown on you. I was wondering what arcade sticks some of my fellow escapists would suggest. I probably won't need it until Continuum Shift comes out, so should I just wait to see if they do some kind of Limited Edition deal or something?

Btw, Continuum Shift is listed at $40 for both 360 and PS3... hope that's true!

Don't play blazblue. Play Guilty Gear, blazblue is just a prettyier watered down version. The only reason i play it is because my local tournaments have switched to it.

Now to your question.

If you really feel a stick will better your game and not just because you think it will make you better and all the pros use them. I have 3 working and a few old ones. A GOOD arcade stick will be an investmant so you should only get one if your an avid fighting game fan.

I guess the easyiest answer is this. A good long lasting stick and thats very easy to get and is reliable and used by everyone getting in the fighting game scene is the Mad Catz Tournament Edition Arcade Stick. Its pricy sure but there the easyiest to get you can buy them at most gamestops (Hate that store) or if you want another oppinion i'd reccomend getting a Hori as well.

Hope this helps.
