I have an incredible craving for some kind of Roleplaying game that can be played co-op and is slightly outdated for the PC (My computer is rubbish). Please do not suggest Diablo 1/2, I've played it to death. Also, to add a little bit of discussion value, what is the best co-op experience you have ever had?

My best co-op experiences are with Timesplitters, Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, and Uncharted 3.

A co-op RPG for a slightly outdated 'pooter... Terraria? Sorta. Depends on how you'd define RPG, I guess.

I had quite some fun playing Splinter Cell: Conviction in multiplayer Co-op.
Also Magicka is quite a good bet, thought not exactly an RPG, nether is SC I guess xD
errhh, co-op RPG's huh. Hmmmm, errr. There's this GTA san andreas mod i think that enables online play, never really played it much but I've heard about it.

Yeey Minecraft?
If you like puzzle games Trine 2 wasn't that bad, its a bit short though. Has Co-op.
Now that you mention it all RPG's I know are pretty much offline...
Skyrim, Fallout, oh right! I guess you can set Borderlands as an RPG/shooter, that one has quite some nice Co-op value. If you like that then probably you'll like Rage too.
anything else... errrhh.. The Cursed Crusade was for me pretty fun if you get over the rather clunkiness at times. Its a sword and broad kinda game.
Resident Evil 5 wasn't bad with Co-op either, againn not exactly an RPG by my standards but it might do.

Dead Island if you like zombie games, that one was neat too.
Gears of War has co-op. not an RPG, again xD
I'm just stating things you might like - I don't think the RPG's are much about online gameplay as much as developing a character, unless you're looking for MMORPG's like WoW and SWTOR.

For me my old WoW days are pretty much the most interesting form of co-op I had, mainly because I usually played strictly with a friend or 2. the Arena also gave you quite some co-op gameplay.

The obvious rpg choices have been given so gonna list some good coop experiences for genres not mentioned:

Red Alert 3 has a coop campaign and i had a blast playing it with a friend, the game is practically designed for it. Say what you will about the game, but its a fun ride with a mate.

Hearts of iron 3 if you happen to be part of the 5% of the gaming population that likes grand strategy games. All paradox games have a multiplayer component of some sort but in hoi3 you can share a country and basically play as if you were on the same computer at once. This kind of coop is for a small % of the gaming population alas, phillistines you all are!

Both of the above games don't demand that good of a pc i think...

Regarding best coop experiences, one in particular sticks out in my mind, twas a game on ps1 called Team Buddies. How to explain this game in brief... A team deathmatch involving kinda legomen who assemble boxes to build anything ranging from weaponry to tanks (with spots for driver and depending on vehicle up to 2 gunners) to airborne craft (with variable crew). This game is an unknown gem of mutiplayer gaming and you could all be on the same team so very coop friendly and tons of fun.

My best co-op experience is undoubtedly Borderlands,I know you mentioned the PC but i've never had so much fun in a co-op game than I have with this,so much so that I still play it frequently and i've already dumped around 300-400 hours into it

Left 4 Dead and Borderlands make for some great coop fun. Here's hoping that the next L4D will have less scenarios that strain the retarded AI and that cause an unfair number of clusterfucks, especially while you're trying to do something to advance the level like filling up a car (now that was bullshit). Also hoping that Borderlands 2 will allow some continuation from all your long hours spent in the first game.

Magicka and Left 4 Dead as their the only games I can think of that need multiple players to work and be fun.

Magicka is the only real viable option so far, but he refused that when I first suggested it. Everything else has either been played to death, shot down by my friend, still being played and/or can't be run by my computer...
