In case you don't fully understand what exactly I mean by 'mood music', I mean...actually I dunno quite how to explain it.

I mean, music that's really just gives off a certain mood to it.

like this, which is sad

this, which is also sad but kind of calming

and this, which is tense and unnerving

Why do I want this stuff? I use music like this, ideally, when I write but I've recently lost pretty much all the music I had, most of which weren't really named or organised, so I need to find some of my old stuff and new stuff to populate my computer with.

No idea how successful this search is going to be, but it's worth a shot I reckon. Please help if you can, if not...I'll just curse your house, no biggie.

I shall help even if I'm a bit late getting here.

Thats all I can do for now.

Maybe this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but a few days ago someone linked me this. [http://rain.nxe7.com/] It's sort of moody, sort of sad, yet still soothing and relaxing. The song is called Exile Vilify by The National, by the way, but I just had to link it with that background and the rain.

I always founds Sigur Ros to be the most brutally emotion provoking bands, at least to me.
From The Portal 2 soundtrack, but the band is amazing.

Probably not the kind of thing you're looking for, but heck, I'd classify this as 'mood music';

I'm too lazy to post videos, but listen to the following musicians:

Godspeed You!Black Emperor
Philip Glass
Mogwai

Edit: The 28 Days Later theme is called 'In The House- In A Heartbeat', and it's by John Murphy. His other soundtracks are similarly amazing, so check them out too.

Ehh, any music...

Blockhead represents a beautiful spectrum of moods for different occasions. Especially if I've got some projects to focus on a computer, I listen to Blockhead. Love it.
