Looking for some shocking/disturbing lectures

As the title say I´m on the saerch for let´s say for some books, which contain a high level
of either violence, gore, psychological mindfucks and so on. Preferably in German, but English is fine, too. And perhaps maybe well written.

You must be thinking what´s wrong with this guy?

Few weeks ago we went through some poems from Gottfried Benn´s Morgue in School and found
them rather fascinating. Plus I like death metal, which certainly has something to do with that

Sadly, I have no idea. Where to find such literature and am relying on the Escapist
broad knowledge on helping me.

Check out Chuck Palahniuk's stuff. I haven't read them myself (I've been meaning to) but apparently they're pretty mindfucky (that's a word). Considering the guy wrote Fight Club, there might be some truth to that. I can't really think of anything else right now.

Incarceron. Simply Incarceron.

While it doesn't have much gore, it certainly has tonnes of violence.

Also, it has an enormous amount of plot twists (plot twists are my interpretations of mind fucks) and the story is always interesting.

I remember "Rabenmord" (original title: "For Edgar", seriously, who does those translations?) as being rather violent, it´s been a while, though and I don´t know if it´s particularly violent for a book, as I don´t have anything to compare it to. It´s about a serial killer whose "bases" his murders on stories by Edgar Allan Poe. Not a lot of mindfucks, though, mostly just a murder-mystery thing.
