So, I enjoy writing stories and when I write I like to have the right soundtrack to go along with it. Sets the mood nicely, and helps keep me going.

Problem is, finding the right music can be a pain, and I'm stuck. I have a scene going on in a church, the "Final Boss" fight, and I can't find seem to find the right music to go along with it.

Suggestions?

"Lux Aeterna" (Clint Mansell) is good if you imagine the fight as having several alternating fast and slow scenes.
I always use that if I try to transport myself into the middle of a medieval battlefield or something like that in my imagination for inspiration.

EDIT:
This version is better I think:

Also good is "Dead Reckoning":

Might be a bit too dramatic for your purposes, but I like "Vs. Aparoid Queen" from Star Fox Assault.

Crimson Rider-Masterplan
...Are you Dead Yet?-Children of Bodom
Painkiller-Judas Priest

Do it. You will make an awesome boss fight.

Decent boss fight style music with the same beat to keep your flow going. Pretty much anything by Life of Agony on reflection will keep you in the right frame of mind I guess:

Clint Mansell is pretty epic, especially his Lux Aeterna piece. If not that then anything by Bear McCreary:

[small]-Storming New Caprica[/small]

If that still is not what you are looking for then try ES Posthumus, Two Steps from Hell or X-ray Dog.

Good call on Lux Aeterna, though I fucking hate Apocalyptia.
Why?They got a pretty cool thing going with them Cello's.
I think the Cello is a great instrument, and you can do all sorts of cool stuff on them, its just for me, all Apocalyptica sounds like those awful Metallica covers they do. And I am sure so many people will disagree with me on the covers, but I really don't like them at all. I can't help but think they do all their arrangements for 13 year olds who like to think of themselves as eclectic listening to 'classical' music. They have found a little niche, and yes they are making a lot of money from it, but I just don't think its any good.

Plus they look fucking ridiculous with their sweat-ridden hair flailing about as they head bang to hardcore violincello metul in their little chairs.
