A few days ago i did not realize that there were so many of these out there lol. I don't know anything about the bluetooth ones and what to expect out of the cheaper wireless earbuds, but does anyone have any they recommend that are similar to those in the same price range?

I used to use my Sennheiser CX 3.00s for the gym, but when I realised it just wasn't feasible to run with the wire running down to the shelf on the treadmill, I did the same and started looking online. I didn't want to spend an absolute bomb load, so I ended up buying a cheap-ish pair of Anker bluetooth earphones off Amazon for about ?15.99. So far they're pretty good and a charge will last me through a full week (five hour long sessions). The audio isn't quite what I get off my Sennheiser pair, but it's good enough for running or lifting. Also they're sweatproof and comfy!

I have a pair of these:

Which I got as a gift.

They're fine. I was actually kind of surprised by the quality of them for the price. Decent noise cancelling (for earbuds), decent sound, decent battery life. Not sure how much I trust them to be sweat-proof though. I've been using them for a few weeks and they're working well, but I'm not sure that the build quality is too great. There's LEDs in the headphones to let you know when they're charged, and they leak light, meaning that there's cracks big enough for water to get into them. It hasn't been a problem yet, but it may be eventually.

They have pretty good range as well. When I'm at the gym I have a gym bag with me which my phone is in. Sometimes I'll be 25-30 feet away from my bag when I need to grab weights and the headphones stay connected at those ranges.

So, not the best headphones in the world, but I'm pretty impressed with them for $20. Since they're gym headphones I wouldn't want to buy anything too expensive. With these I wouldn't feel bad if they broke and I had to get a new pair.

I use these Bose wireless buds

https://www.amazon.com/Bose-SoundSport-Wireless-Headphones-Black/dp/B01L7PSJFO

Unfortunately for me Bose is one of the few brands I can use. My ears don't like traditional earbuds that you stick in your ear and they always fall out. These kind of sit in the ear and little hooks hold them in. I've used them for cardio and lifting so can confirm they stay in place whether running or deadlifting. They provide a lot of bass which is great for me since I listen to mostly metal, punk, and electronic stuff. Battery life is impressive too. I can go up to a week without having to charge them.

The CX 300-II is better. Having them for 3 years and then switching to cx 3.00. I'm pretty disappointed. The 300's have a warmer sound with consistent low frequencies that do not block the highs. The 3's just sound cheaper even though they are more expensive. Highs are kinda tinny. The bass, however, is good if you play around with the EQ but as good as the 300's.
