Looking forward to Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising?

Okay, so Operation Flashpoint 2 is released tomorrow and wednesday for all us Europeans. My question is, are you excited for it? It hasn't been hyped up as much as I thought it would which is slightly disappointing but I'm sure it will be amazing if the first one was anything to go by.

What are your thoughts?

Lack of 360 map editor = sad times. But oh well, hopefully I'll be able to play co-op with four of my friends.

It's basically a War simulator. Very realistic, look at some videos on youtube, you will love it.

Well I suppose that's true. But you know there will be people who'll see the box art and think 'Hey! Military! Shooting!' and get the game, load up co-op matches, and just run out and get smoked. Thus annoying the rest of the group, who wish the space on the team was filled by someone who can offer something other then yelling the following into the mic: 'I hate this game! Call of duty is way more realistic! That's dumb! I wouldn't bleed out! I'd just regenerate my health! This is stupid!'.

You know I'm so very right.

Not sure. It has an interesting concept. I hope it doesn't have as many buttons and glitches as ARMA II. I could never figure out how to work that game. Oh and if you think the head bob is bad in FEAR 2, then you've clearly never played ARMA. Also I hope they weren't just screwing with us in regards to graphics as I heard the working build doesn't look nearly as nice as the screenshots. I'll wait for the reviews and decide based on that, same with Alpha Protocal.

I saw some gameplay of it on SentUaMessage on Inside Xbox, and I thought it look really good. I'll be picking it up(eventually), I could do with a realistic Military FPS. Hopefully they'll be a demo out sometime soon, or I'll have to watch a boatload of gameplay to see whether I'll enjoy playing it.

I'm going to see what the reviews come out like. I need a good new shooter but I don't know if something this realistic will be up my alley.

Dunno for how long but for £10 a month u can have 1 game at once for however long you want and from almost any game in existence (on xbox 360, ps3 and w./e other ones) £15 a month for 2 games at once
