So this morning I woke up earlier than usual, that being 12 noon since I have a job that starts at 2, or rather since I HAD a job that started at 2. I got a phone-call this morning informing me that the company I worked for now has less money than my thirteen year-old brother on his birthday. The result being that they could no longer afford my employment.
So after moping around, going back to bed for an hour and eating biscuits to ease the pain I came to a shocking and wonderful realisation.
I have an excuse to play Skyrim all day on Friday!
While you lot go out and revel in your stable incomes, I shall be playing my Breton Battlemage, killing dragons and stealing everything that is not nailed, riveted and magically bound to the floor. In that case I may just steal the floor itself.
So to give this thread discussion value: What small comforts have you found in bad news?
Also, in a completely unrelated topic, anyone got a job opening in Glasgow Scotland?
