I am looking to buy a SNES, with some games, for the sake of nostalgia.
I was wondering if any of you fine escapist members had any idea of where I could order one safely?
I don't like ebay very much, so that is not an option for me.

Why don't you like eBay? I'd say that's by far your best bet.

See, I don't understand why people start threads like this. After about five seconds of googling I came up with this.

I don't wanna get ripped off. Yeah, I'm a little paranoid that way.
And the reason I started the thread, is that I wondered if anyone had bought one before and could recomend a site that did not rip you off.

Except eBay's the website least likely to rip you off. It allows for radically lower prices than the retail websites, because it's people selling the product, rather than a company, who don't have to cover rent costs, and employment costs etc.
