I currently own a GBA, 3DS, Xbox 360, and PS4 and I am wanting to expand my collection. Games that I currently have

DS:
Chrono Trigger
Pokemon White 2

3DS:
Fire Emblem Awakening
Pokemon X
Pokemon Y
Shin Megami Tensei IV

Xbox 360:
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Assassin's Creed III
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Bioshock Infinite
Borderlands
Borderlands 2
Dark Souls
Dead Space 2
Dishonored
Dragon Age Origins
Dragon Age II
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Gears of War 3
Grand Theft Auto V
Halo 4
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Minecraft
Mortal Kombat
The Orange Box
Rage
Red Dead Redemption
The Witcher 2
XCOM Enemy Within
The Bureau XCOM Declassified

I did not include games that I have downloaded via Xbox Live simply because I prefer to get a physical copy of the game. I want to expand my collection to games that I might have missed out on and that I really should play. My gaming taste is pretty varied as shown by my list, but please don't suggest racing or sports games simply because those kind of games just don't interest me. Try to keep suggestions towards the platforms that I said that I had.

I want to expand my collection because I am a game design student and I want to expand my knowledge through research. I also want to expand my collection because of posterity. One of my earliest childhood memories is playing video games with my dad and I want to share that experience with my future kids.

GBA:

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow - the second best Metroidvania game in the Castlevania series, after the PS1's Symphony of the Night. (Symphony of the Night, which, just saying, you can get on XBL or PSN. Or on import for the Sega Saturn if you're a crazy person like me.)

Castlevania Circle of the Moon - One of the more challenging Metroidvanias, but also one of the best.

Xbox 360:

This http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Ultimate-Genesis-Collection-Xbox-360/dp/B001G3AZS2 it includes everything from classic, perfect-for-coop beat'em ups to RPGs. Definitely a must if you want to understand the history of gaming.
