I'm trying to make a few Let's Play-style videos, but no matter which software I use, freeware, trialware, shareware, I always get desyncs on my videos. I googled around and found a tip: Using the freeware VirtualDub, I can reset the video's framerate to fit the lagging audio. Sounded great at first and it is a solution.
However, it has a side-effect: As the video is slowed down to fit the audio, the speed of the audio remains the same, i.e. somewhat slower than it is in real life, making my own voice as well as all game-internal sounds slower and thereby deeper. Very weird.
I was wondering if any of you knew an easy way to do the opposite: Not slow down the video to fit the audio but speed up the audio to fit the video (thus hopefully leaving sounds, music and voice intact, as they actually do sound).
