I've been thinking lately about the loose ends they need to tie up in the modern warfare series. For example, I understand that the Rangers had to move to DC for the big fight, but what's happening with OpFor in Afghanistan? Maybe Shadow Company took care of them, and that would provide some interesting depth to Shepherd's character. As far as I can tell in the trailers, I'm not sure if they're going to touch on that issue.

The OpFor in MW2 were a much more ragtag group compared to the ones in COD4.

The OpFor in COD4 had tanks, APCs, helicopters and jets....in MW2 they just have infantry.

Except for the parts where they have armored vehicles and helocopters.

When did the OpFor have armoured vehicles and helicopters in MW2?

EDIT: Wait, now I remember there being one APC in MW2, still nothing compared to COD4.

All of Specops. In fairness in MW you were invading enemy territory. So it makes sense for them to have much more equipment there.

Yes I know, but the OP was referring to the OpFor in MW2, who were more of a militia than anything else and nowhere near as powerful as the OpFor in COD4.

I don't think they pose much of a threat to Makarov and Shadow Company more than likely destroyed most of their numbers so they gave up. However, they might return but if theydo I don't think they'll make a very major appearance.

In SpecOps you fight the Opfor. And they have much more hardware on display then in the single player. It is the same enemy, in the same timeframes. You fight them.

Also in single player. You fight helos and tanks from the capital building or whatever dont you?

1. You never fight the OpFor in spec ops mode in MW2.

2. I don't ever remember fighting againts the OpFor in America, I'm pretty sure that was the Russians.
