Lord of the Rings: Conquest

For those who don't know, it's battlefront with swords, bombs, arrows, and magic.

I liked the Battlefront games and I'm pretty sure that I will like this as well. I don't quite think that it'll be worth the $60 price tag though, so I'll either rent it wait for the price to go down.

I won't be touching the game.

I strongly advise anyone who got their fingers burned on Demonstone to check out the demo before parting with cash for this.

I played the 360 Multiplayer Demo, the online play is amazing, Archers are a bit too overpowered in my opinion and Scouts suck because of the problems with the network.

Mostly looking forward to Star Ocean 4 and Resident Evil 5 though.

I got the demo and rather enjoyed it, quite a bit. I preordered the game when I had first heard of it, a few months ago, and now I'm kinda chomping at the bit to get it. The only thing I'm really hoping for is that people start learning how to strategically chose their class, rather then everyone spamming Archer and getting slaughtered by the one good scout or a warrior/mage combo.

I tried the demo on PS3. Could not even finish it. Really didn't like the presentation. It just really wasn't my thing, yet, I did enjoy Battlefront.

A love it or hate it game. I loved it. No other online play like it right now. Something very satisfying about it.

Pretty much!
I found it really bland.
Combat was boring with terrible hit detection.
Found the servers laggy, too.

But, others obviously found it entertaining.
Maybe I'll rent it, or grab it from the bargain bin after a while/patch.

I downloaded the demo, and I thought it was really good. It's Star Wars: Battlefront with a LOTR theme. While that may sound like a complaint, it's actually a good thing for those who played Battlefront because they know how to play. The different character classes help keep it varied and the combat was fun, especially when you fight a small army of orcs. Whilie I would buy it, I recently bought Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead a few weeks ago, which are already taking up most of my time. All in all, it's a good game.

I loved the Battlefront games and i love this one.

Hopefully the actually game will be better then the demo, I dunno. The demo was a little iffy to me.
