I was speaking with my friend recently about a particular game that I'm sure most of you know. This game is Caesar III, one of my favorite games of all time. Every once in a while I'll hunt the game down under the remains of my many other beaten and no longer played games to ressurect this little gem from its grave.

However...all is not well in my world anymore, I've lost it. I can't find it anywhere. This upsets me to no end since my friend is constantly talking about it now and asking me for advice on how to beat levels. I'm itchin to play some Caesar III, but I guess the game goblins finally took it away from my careless hands.

So what games have you realized you've lost and will never find again in the comfort of your own home?

(Also on a side note...how is Caesar IV? I'm thinking of purchasing it)

I remember losing Pokemon yellow when I was a kid, I must have spent hours looking for but alas 'twas all in vain, my Ivysaur had just evolved and everything *sniffle*.

I lost my copy of Halo for the PC, but I don't really care to be honest. Terrible port.

I once lost Legend of Zelda: Links awakening for the gameboy a long time ago. It was a very old version, the label on the cartridge was missing (I mustve pulled it off in vandalistic boredom) and was replaced with silver stickers that served a purpose I didnt know about.

One day, years later, me and the rest of my family were visiting my grandparent. And I noticed my little nephew had a gameboy. Seeing I have no younger brothers, I adopted him as my "gaming heir" and started showing interest in whatever he was playing.

It was legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. MY Zelda: Link's Awakening. Apparently it was given to him by Grandma.

I have never lost a game, but I did lose my PSP memory card. It had over 10 games on it. 4 completed ones. I was highly annoyed.

I loaned Metroid Prime 2 to a friend a while back...then one day I ased for it back and got "I can't find the disc" as a response. I think his idiot kid brothers either wrecked it or sold the disc on its own, 'cause he found the case. It's been a couple years now, he bought a replacement, but the disc was never recovered...so sad...

I lost my memory card once. 48 hours on Okami, FF X and XII, and nearly all of my games completed. Why, I ask you, why.....

I periodically lose my Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge discs. It's one of my favorite games ever made and I never really tire of playing it but for some reason the discs like to travel to the mystical realm of "Hahayoucannotfindme" from time to time.
