Has anyone else here remembered a game they owned but when they went to look for it they couldn't find it? I just remembered I had a copy of Conkers Bad Fur Day for the N64 and somehow last year it went missing :( I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't find it.

There was also my Pokemon Silver version which I think may have been stolen around the same time some of my Pokemon cards were stolen (no more sparkling Snorlax :/).

Anyway, feel free to add any games that you have either lost, had stolen or broken and maybe even reminisce about the good times had on that game.

Me and my brother have lost almost all our pokemon games to the hands of my sister.
Blue, red, silver, ruby, sapphire, fire red, diamond, pearl, and the first pokemon ranger game have all gone missing. The only pokemon game still around that I've had for more than a year is Leaf Green.

I don't know how she lost all of those. Ruby even had a shiny on it :(

That sucks, I've never been lucky enough to catch a shiny (might have missed one when I was younger and didn't know about them though) but thankfully I think the only one I have lost is silver, I still have the pokemon gameboy that I got with my red version haha

My cousin was pretty annoyed when he went to play his red version one day and found out that somehow it had started a new game after he had caught every pokemon.

I recently found my old Lion King game on Snes... Now I just need to find my Snes and load it up.
I know I can reach grown-up Simba now... I just know it.

Never happened. Although there are plenty of games I rented as a kid that I wish that I could have bought so I could play them again.

recently was cleaning and stumbled across "time splitters: future perfect" when I went to replay it I realized it was unable to run (it looked scratched but might have been in working condition) I can get it elsewhere but nothing will be like playing it on PS2, the only pure FPS that I really loved :'(

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne was impossible to find in stores back in the day. But my grandma found it and got it for me. I played it about 4 times and then it vanished.

Such a mysterious title.

I always cheated on that game by pressing B+A+R+R+Y on the title screen and toggling the invulnerability on. I don't think I ever made it past the Hakuna Matata level without cheating.

OT - I'd like to find my old SNES but I suspect my dad sold it some time ago. I have every catridge with me, the exception being the Donkey Kong Country games, which I've been missing for a while.

I used to get the itch to play through Earthbound every few years or so.
Years ago I found out, after searching for a half an hour, that my brother had sold my copy of Earthbound to someone at his school. Somehow it had come up that he had access to the game, and the kid had offered $50 for it. I insisted that he give me the $50, as he knew it was my game (I bought it brand new myself for ~$70, which was a big deal being a usually broke child). He agreed (and did pay me), but the whole time my mother was shouting at me about "we should share our video games." Well, I agree, but how is my brother selling my game off and not telling me sharing? She didn't scold my brother, just me...

I might never have known either, but luckily my brother is among the top 100 worst liars currently alive today. I didn't actually accuse him, I just asked him if he'd seen it and then he looked uncomfortable and I inferred he had something to do with it.

I'd rather have my copy of Earthbound back :( (I still have the scratch 'n sniff guide though!). Although, I'd have to buy another SNES too; I soon discovered that the SNES was borked that same day. Not the best day in gaming for me, haha.
