Lost in translation...

I was recently replaying Zone of the Enders 2 again and i was reminded of how confused it made me during my first playthrough.

This wasn't the game's fault per se, but rather the translation of the dialogue.

Seriously, none of it seems to make any sense. The English voice actors seem to have little to no idea of the intended emotions behind the words or, in some cases, even the meaning.

I looked up and watched the fan subbed cut scenes and the whole thing made a lot more of an impact.

I was just wondering if anyone has come across any other games (or even films) where this is a problem, and what are they?

Katamari Damacy. The entire fucking game. But that's why it's so amazing.

In all seriousness, though, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Some of that dialogue was just awkward, and it often made little to no sense. Not to mention the fact that around half of the spoken, unsubbed dialogue in the game was in Ukrainian (or is it Russian?).
