So lets discuss; After not playing lost planet 2 for a long while I decided to throw in the disc again and take a shot at killing all the bosses again through the campaign.

It was at this moment I began to remember how GOOD lost planet 2 is as a game. Tons of customization, weapons, unlock etc. tactical gameplay when fighting against things like akrids and bosses (lets ingore the whole part where you fight other people as thats BORING) and all in all I have to say its a really unique game world that I would hate to say dissapate into history. I mean really as I found myself playing the first chapter of the game I simply couldn't get over how great the levels looked and how great the encounters were. The game simply feels epic, whether your narrowly rolling out of the way of an akirds attack to pull off a counter attack or simply destorying everything with a VS.

My only complaint about the game at all would have to be the portions of the game spent fighting NEVEC or the some other human faction. It just felt kind of weak and while there were certainly epic moments int aht as well it just didn't seem right sitting behind cover shooting at dudes like every OTHER game out there when I could be spending that time having more narrow encounters with the monsters that roam the land.

So what do you all think? A new lost planet game? One more focused on more weapons (perhaps some sort of melee besides gun blade?), more VS', and more new types of akrid? Honestly I know I for one would buy it especially if we get to explore more of that jungle (again it was so well done). IF you want we could toy with some ideas for improvement in the comments. I for one would like bigger levels (or open world; huge project, incredible longshot, but would be AMAZING) where we could perhaps defend forts or bases from akrid orsnow pirate assault to protect key resources that could aid the faction. (unlike the terrible faction system in the current game)
