This may be a little pretentious, but since Turbine's customer support absolutely blows (3-5 business days for a support ticket reply? What the bloody fuck?), I'd love it if you all could try and help me solve a problem I'm having with LotRO's newest patch.

The Turbine Download Manager worked perfectly fine, got everything downloaded without a hitch. I proceeded to open up the game, logged into my Turbine account, and was promptly smacked with this exact message;

"Error: Cannot patch!"

No error designation, no anything. I've spent the last two hours digging through LotRO's support base, its forums, everything. I've tried the solution suggested therein, and it just won't work.

I'm running Windows XP on a broadband connection. I never had any issues with the game beforehand, so I know it's not specifications. I have tried closing other download manager clients (like Steam), I've tried restarting my computer and TDM, but nothing seems to work.

Any assistance my fellow Escapists could deliver would be most whole-heartedly loved.
