So, I'm going to be moving in a couple of days, and I won't have access to my main computer for a few days after that (another annoying story). I'll be using a little Netbook, but I will not have internet access, so flash game sand the like are out. So, fellow Escapists, I ask you, what are some good games that I can have fun with using these specs:

Windows 7 Starter Edition 32 Bit
Intel Atom CPU N450 @ 1.66GHz/1.67GHz
1GB RAM
Monitor resolutions: 640x480/800x600/1024x600
Intel Grapics Media Accelerator 3150
Memory: 384MB
Core Render: 200MHz
Pixel Pipelines: 2
Shader Model: 3.0
DirectX: 9.0c
OpenGL: 1.5 (Windows)
Memory Bandwidth: 5.3GB/s

I list the different resolutions because games such as Medieval II: Total War and Rise of Nations require at least 1024x768, so they're out, which is unfortunate as they're two games I would love to have on the Netbook. Also, Age of Empires II has some graphics issues with Win7, and I have not been able to resolve them as of yet.

So, other than that, what say you?

EDIT: Thanks a lot for the replies guys.

The original Starcraft.

Minecraft! (Actually, not sure if that will run at all, but I'm a fanboy)

The original Monkey Island games.

[EDIT] Also the Stronghold games. Those are really good.

Plants vs Zombies

I wouldn't attempt to run minecraft with 1GB of RAM, the laptop would melt through the table.

Yeah, Minecraft was indeed choppy when I tried it many moons ago on it. Plants vs. Zombies works fine though.

System Shock 2 will run on a netbook. I had it running on my Aspire. As previously mentioned, emulators are good for netbooks.

Abandoina isn't indie games. It's abandonware, and most of them require DOSBox.

Semantics aside, tho I totally approve.

Alternatively go download a random selection from the latest ludim dare. You know, 'cause they're indie.

I always go back to old RPGs in situations like that. Last time I replayed Fallout. Since that and 2 have already been suggested, maybe try Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale.

This is so correct. I've spent weeks plumbing through that site, worth every minute.

EVEN MORE CORRECT. I've spent MONTHS on Geneforge 2 alone.

Liberal crime squad, Baldur's gate 1 and 2, Space rangers 2, Rome Total War, Morrowind, Daggerfall, Half-Life 1, any old game with DOSBox. That's all I can think of right now, but there's plenty of choice out there.

Oh, and

thanks for reminding me.

(The sad thing is that I am just listing things that I play on my desktop, which until recently was actually worse than that notebook).

Sounds like an eee PC 1005HA, like mine.

Some games I successfully managed to play:

Beyond Good & Evil (YAY!)
Monkey Island (The Remakes of 1 and 2, as well as the new Tales series)
Sim City 4
Plants vs. Zombies
Sim CIty 4
Most Flash games
KKND 2

These are all I've tried so far but I guess other games with similar requirements should work, too.
