so the hackers hacked the "hackers"... but wht would happen if then some more Hackers or "hackers" hacked the other "hackers" or hackers to get back at team poison? what if hackers hacked each hacking group so effectively that hackers completely hack everything to pieces and all our shit is caught in the middle?

Hmmm... is it defiite proof that they've been hacked?
Because i'm rather skeptical about this.
But if it did happen...
GO TEAM POISON!

Although I'm happy for LulzSec for getting it's dues, the horribly schadenfreude-laden side of me really wants someone to hack the shit out of their attackers, just so I can eventually say "Looks like Team Poison's blasting off agaaaaaaaaaaain!!"
Heh, yeah, that was my first thought too! Good to see I'm not alone!

I want this to happen because hackers that target things like PSN and cost comapanies millions of dollars and attack organisations like the CIA (who keep information a secret for a reason) should get lost.
Yeah, the multi billion dollar companies are the REAL victims here...

It doesn't even matter if the hacking really occurred - the claim that theyre script kiddies pretty much breaks LulzSec entire image.
GO team poison :D

Moral of the story? Hackers are bad. All of them. Even the white hats, because without hackers, we wouldn't NEED white hats.
Without "hackers" you wouldn't even have an Internet to complain on.

Apparently a two man hacker team by the name of Team Poison (TriCK aka Saywhat? and iNSaNe hacked LulzSec.
The two man group warned LulzSec that they would take action and that they had 48 hours to secure their IRCs. Apparently LulzSec took it as an empty threat, laughed at the group and was then hacked.
They claim that LulzSec isn't a real hacking group as they use bots and scripts to do all the work for them, eg. Hacking the CIA. The group continue to post their hate for LulzSec claiming that they aren't a real underground hacking group because they aren't hackers.

Finally, the group claims that they will release photos and names of the members to the public.

I couldn't care less that Sony lost millions because they got hacked, it serves them right for not getting their security right in the first place. My heart is with the consumers (including me) who lost the services they pay for/expect to be online for a period of time AND the thought of getting their identities stolen.

I never really agreed with what LulzSec were doing in the first place, they should probably stop being such idiots now before all this comes back to bite them.
And sony weren't the only ones to have lack of security... So I don't know why you're hating.

Oh the other hand, hope this is true... I suppose time will tell.

This is pretty good news actually. Hopefully this will be the end of Lulzsec and hopefully this Team Poison won't end up being worse than Lulzsec.
They're an underground hacker group. They're already worse than them.Lulzsec actually exclaimed that while what they do is bad(big whoop they said) they did announce everything they did allowing people to change their passwords rather than posting them around and they don't steal money(so they claim at least but from what I understand they poke fun and bang shit up not steal.Whereas you have hackers that have just swim up saying they did an actual hit.And they're better than Lulzsec in terms of knowledge.People should stop being sheep running around spouting shit.
They didn't steal money, but they damn sure threatened (and carried out the threats) to get some.

The strange thing is - if there's a power cut, these guys become powerless nobodies.

AVENGE MY LOST MONTH OF GAMING! I like it, hack the people who deserve to be hacked, not the ones providing entertainment services to millions.

Counter-hackers, yes. The real people putting down the children who think they're hard. It happens in gangs all the time.

But this time has less bloodshed, so all good. Hopefully Team Poison hands over all the info they can get to the FBI.

Begun, the hack wars have.

Seriously though, I wish they'd all just stop so our news could focus on something more, you know, important. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for those idiots being taught a lesson, but let the authorities do it, that's what they're there for.

Team poison is here to attack so, Lulzsec prepared to get hack.

I'm done for the day
Awesome. I sincerely hope Team Poison actually uses something like this, but that might make them seem like LulSec themselves, making a joke of things while hacking, however funny it actually is. (Pardon the run-on)

If this is true, it sucks. I quite enjoyed Lulzsec's antics because they pissed a lot of people off while simultaneously not affecting me in any way. I hope this team rocket poison at least picks up the slack and does something controversial to keep me entertained.

Not hating specifically on Sony. I was just using them because their story in the series of hacks were the biggest and most profound. Besides, was it actually hating? It was a perfectly valid point, Sony had sub-par security, something inexcusable for a company such as them, they got it shown to them by an unwieldy set of hacker kids who unfortunately had to take it further by releasing all the details they stole on the internet.

So not hate, more indignation, mainly because I was one of those 24 million or however many. However I understand I'd feel the exact same if i was a member of that Sega thing and whatever else.

So, let me get this straight?

LulzSec split from Anon, and then proceeded to attack a shit load of websites. When they brought down the CIA site, The Jester decided to get back at them, who has help from Team Web Ninjas, and now Team Poison are helping?

Right, can't we just have LulzSec and Anti-LulzSec rather than all these little groups?

Ha, that was inevitable. Hackers love to be unknown and leave without a trace so when lulzsec came along and did the opposite this was a sure way to piss off the existing community.
