Seeing how they publicly announce almost everything they do (including hacking the PS3) before hand, I think it's safe to assume that they are the actual hackers that did actually steal the credit card information.

There was no pre-announcement of Lulzsec hacking PS3 whatsoever.There was a post announcement by Sony that Anonymous did the hacking which I also have problems believing knowing Anon's previous history.Lulzsec steals data but not money,it's just how they roll.Any other unintelligent and unchecked things you want to mention.I think we understood you're all anti-hacker from this thread alone.There's no need to further reinforce your points unless you're going out of your way to show how stupid and silly you are.

You haven't proven anything as of yet. I never said they took it down themselves. Sony took down the PS3 too make sure their security measures were intact, because of the breach done by Lulzsec, hence, it was Lulzsec fault that it was taken down. We do not know if anyone from Lulzsec used the money because we do not yet know who the members are.

And of course I'm anti hacker. Why would I be for random people breaking into my private information? Do you think these kids are Neo or something?

Seriously, get your priorities straight. Also, make sure you fully understand what someone says before trying to make them look like an idiot. It very much backfired in your case.

They won't, they are proper hackers. Something the internet doesn't understand the meaning of anymore. Lulzsec are Phreakers not Hackers. They damage systems and definately DO leave traces they were there. They don't fit the classic definition of hacker in any way.

I'm pretty ok with people messing with the CIA. There's plenty of shit done with my money, in my name, that I would rather not have done. Also, the CIA managed to create half the reason a lot of countries hate the U.S. and I'd rather that not happen again.

That being said, kick some ass Team Poison. We got no place for those douches who DDoS'd the Escapist. Most of the reason we've been having slow downs and errors is due to them.

I'll actually give you that one seeing how I was meaning the Playstation network. Hacking into the PS3 seems to be much easier. I have read everything that you said. I just didn't remember everything that I said. Luckily for me, that wasn't the main issue here.

And just because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean that it won't happen to you. I've never had anyone hack into my accounts, that doesn't mean I assume it's not a bad thing. It's someone trying to steal your personal information. Why the fuck would I idolize these idiots?

Let's also look into how they've "exposed bad internet security". They leaked thousands of people's credit card information on the web, for people to do whatever with. I don't know about you, but I did not see one thing on the news about the PS3 being down, let alone credit cards being leaked. The only way someone would have found out about this is if they were on a well informed website like this.

The message left by Sony on the PS3 homepage did not say anything about the Credit cards being leaked. That's how your idols "expose the Evil corporations". By attacking the Customers.

Also, look through their twitter feed. They mention multiple times how they are "preparing a surprise for Sony".

There's no doubt that they've done good, but it's all been through accident. The "censorship" they are fighting is only going to end up putting stricter enforcement on the internet, something the people don't want to happen.

Make no mistake, they aren't fighting for anyone's rights. They are doing this because they found out how to do a Ddos attack. They're doing this because they can. They even said so themselves.
