Well, I've been looking into getting a new PS3-exclusive game or two for the holidays (my parents usually just give me the money for a couple of games, since its too hard for them to find or remember anything other than the big name titles, like Halo, CoD or the Tom Clancy games, etc.), and I've been trying to decide what I want.

The game I was looking at, and have been looking at for a while (since I got my PS3) is M.A.G. It looked interesting, and I've wanted to get it since I only have 1 MP PS3 game (KZ2, MGS4 doesn't count because the MP is terrible; its like they looked at Ghost Recon and went "lets take everything they did well and do the exact opposite of that"), and I've beaten, or almost beaten all my SP games (or will, by the end of Winter Break).

However, I'm hesitant because I've heard both that the MP is dead already, and that even if you find a game, if you're not part of the one dominate PMC (SVER or Valor, I forgot), you won't be having any fun.

There are enough people here with PS3s that must've played a bit to be able to give their opinions, right?

Also, I don't have Playstation Plus, so I can't download the demo, before you ask.

Admittedly I haven't played it in a while, so I can't reference the 'dead' part, but last time I played it (month or so ago) it was pretty lively.

It does however have quite a bit of a learning curve which for some gamers may not be what they are looking for, much like Warhawk. I personally think MAG should have developed smaller maps Halo sized, for newbies to get to grips before they take on the big boys in the massive arenas.

Anyway, as much as I have my own personal opinions on what could have made it better, the game is untold amounts of fun once you are willing to give it a go, of course, its not original, but it is fun. Be warned, if you don't want to get sniped like a ***** constantly, you going to need to put in a lot of time to get to grips with it.
