That's right folks mother's day is come'in up, and I have 20 dollars and no idea what to get the most important lady in my life. Every year I get her a movie that she is only slighty interested in or a CD she never listens to, and these are the things she asks for. So ladies and gents, ideas?

I'm tempted to troll and say get her into 4chan but to be honest I'm just going with flowers. It's not the gift that counts, it's the fact that you cared enough to get her something.

Only if you equate the importance of a gift with how much it costs.

I say that the key to finding a gift for any parent is to recognize the things they want but won't ask for. There is always some small thing that a person could use-- pick something that has a lot of utility or that would make their lives easier in a real but subtle way. The true value in a gift like that is that you recognized their need and made an effort to help them out. Then they'll think of you whenever they use it.

Anything you get her will make her happy because it's a gift from you. Or you could do something nice like the idea you have for gardening.

As for a movie Avatar came out on DVD has she seen that yet.
