Hey guys and gals, I first installed Steam late last year finally got it working Feb this year and have been gaming on it reliably ever since. Today I purchased Two Worlds II from the common room at my uni on the same MacBook Pro I have been using Steam on just using a different network.
After a while of it not appearing in my library to download I logged out, planning on logging back in and hoping that it would appear and I could start downloading/playing, no dice, instead I get the message:
"Unable to connect to the Steam network. 'Offline Mode' is unavailable because there is no Steam login information stored on this computer.
You will not be able to use Steam until you can...
Click here to check the Satus of the Steam network (which is a hyperlink to: http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ )"
The only option I have apart from clicking the hyperlink is to click 'OK'. After going through steps on both the macrumours.com and the Steam User Forums for about 2 hours I'm starting to get pretty desperate and the obvious restarting, turning off the Airport reinstalling etc. hasn't work just continuing the same message. If any of you wonderful people would be able to help I would be forever greatful, thanks in advance.
