Mac to HDTV Question

is there a way i can hook up my mac to my HDTV so i can play on my Mac in my Beanbag and watch shows off it

What kind of Mac? What kind of TV? Generally it the TV will just have a VGA port in the back you can plug it in to.

If you have a miniDisplay Port i'd go for a HDMI converter.

Get a PC, that will solve your problem.

The mac book pro model from before 2008 has a port that might work, but really they made Apple Tv to get more money from you. If you have an iPod they have connections for that to.
