I went to the mall today to pick up another Horus heresy book, but I made a mistake. I thought Battle for the Abyss was the next book in order, not Legion. Now, if were to go ahead and read Battle for the Abyss, would I be lost? I ask because Fulgrim and Descent of Angels were separate from the Horus Rising>False Gods>Galaxy in Flames>Flight of the Eisenstein progression. So Escapists, can I safely read BftA without Legion?
