I don't see an official topic about this, and I searched, came up with news articles,and a poll about about getting the game or not.
Well, one of my friends got it for the Wii, and I got to see and play it at his house the other day, and, well, honestly...It is FUCKING AWESOME, and there are no other words that come to mind for it. This isn't a user review, but I wanted to see how fellow escapists feel about the game.
If they made more things like this, I would own a Wii.
I'm just going to say to me, that the controls are much better than I expected, the soundtrack is much less annoying than I expected, the art style is wonderful, and the announcers are hilarious (especially Greg Proops).
I'd say it's exactly what the Wii needs to appeal to people like me (who aren't amused by Wii Sports).
So anyway:
-Did you buy the game? Rent the game? Play the game? Have you experienced it yet?
-If so, how do you feel about it? Like it? Hate it? Like this aspect but hate that? Why?
And finally,
-Do you think that Sega had a good idea? I think they pulled it off really well but I personally don't know if there's enough Wii owners out there for it to be financially successful or popular, but I think it will become a cult classic.
