Its not really funny nor does it make me pissed. That said I wouldnt mind this stuff being in the game, but after 5 years in development i dont blame them for releasing it now.

Anyway, I've never played the first Mafia and I was still rather annoyed by the lack of driving-while-shooting and the lack of blindfire. Kinda weird that they cut that.
That said, it's still one of my favourite games of all times. Shooting people with a tommygun while wearing a fedora and a trenchcoat? Hell to the yes.

Well, I guess that's not all... they had enough time to actually include those things, but the way this video is going on about it is like they were trying to beat the living crap out of you while taking it away. Things not included from the first game isn't exactly evil, it's more or less what you should expect from a company -- no matter what they say. That way you're not disappointed when it happens and you are pleased when it doesn't. After it's released you can do what the video is doing. Either way, when it's in development there's little you can do.
Now, did they actually have these things in the game at some point for the player to use but then cut it? That is what I want to know.
Know what I hated, how about the camera behind the back of your head? Pick first person or pick third person don't go inbetween so that when my character runs it seems like the screen is shaking. Also why does it constantly zoom in and out of the back of his head it's extremely painful to watch. I'm tired of holding the right analog down to be able to play. Minor issue but wtf is up with those small subtitles? A lot of gamers want subtitles they can read. Being 1 shotted if I run too far ahead without killing the last guy, there's no other way to flank in these linear missions.
The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that you couldn't shoot whilst driving. It wasn't a major thing though.
I'm looking forward to the 'Annoyingly hard race track mission pack that will take you weeks to get past' DLC.
Mafia 2 was a little bare. Honestly, I'm not surprised people pirate games. I'd much rather download a copy of Mafia 2 with the DLC than pay for it. I imagine they would also, and do.
The first got critical acclaim if you only consider the PC version. The console version is rocking a 65/100, which is way lower than any of the console versions of the sequel.Dexter111 said:
Personally, I quite enjoyed the game. I love the first one to bits, and my expectations have been met with the second installment. It's not without its foibles, but then, the first one, as much as I adore it, was by no means without flaws either.
