Taken from the MTG wiki, a quote of the rules regarding targeting and protection:

502.7b - A permanent with protection can't be targeted by spells with the stated quality and can't be targeted by abilities from a source with the stated quality.

JtN comes into the field and then it's ability activates. It's ability is from a white source and requires a target (As it specifically says "Target Creature") which isn't allowed by protection. So no, Journey to Nowhere wouldn't work on Emrakul.

Except that Emrakul has protection from coloured spells, not their abilities. If I wanted to I could also kill him with Royal Assassin or even just bounce him with Jace.

I'm annoyed and slightly amused that people are still arguing about my post - whether I could have casted Emrakul, and whether my opponent could have hit it with Path to Exile. The funny thing is that it seems no one actually read my post. To quote the relevant section:

I noticed the problem with exhuming Emrakul early, so I decided to entomb Pathrazer instead. Not quite as powerful, but with Annihilator 3, the opponent is screwed unless he has a turn 1 Path to Exile.

i prefer green and red its a slow start but once you get enough land cards (if thats what there called) you can put out some REALLY overpowered cards out

To quote the rulings given for Emrakul on 'The Gatherer':

"Protection from colored spells" means that Emrakul can't be the target of colored spells (including colored Aura spells) or of abilities whose sources are colored spells (such as the "when you cast" ability of an Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre that's been turned red by Painter's Servant). It also means that all damage that would be dealt to Emrakul by colored spells is prevented. Like every protection ability, it works only while Emrakul is on the battlefield.

It should be noted that you would still be able to use the ability of permanents such as creatures or enchantments to dispose of it as they don't count as spells once in play.

Even though I say the first card is literally my #1 of dominator, this card above is also very powerful and I would really not want to take you on with such a deck with the like of these cards.. Haha.

Emrakul can be dealt with for 2 mana,

Before you even think of saying that doesn't work let me explain to you why it does. Emrakul has protection of color spells, a spell is any card currently on the stack that has not yet resolved. Journey doesn't target while it's on the stack it's ability is triggered when it enters the field, Emrakul has no protection from colored abilities.

I myself enjoy black, the price of power is blood I care not whose blood is paid. If it has blood I will bleed it to death, if there is no blood then I will flay the flesh from it's bones, if there is no flesh then I shall tear out it's soul, if it has no soul then I shall corrode it to nothing.

I felt that was necessary.

It depends, I use White Weenie decks the most often because zerging my opponents with 1/1 creatures is fun. I also find Green/Black combos fun because I like the dichotomy.

I don't play very well, but my favorite deck is my Black deck set up for regenerating and damage sponging. Of course, the game is pretty much over once I get my Festering Goblin, who is my favorite card, and one of the most useful. He combos well with Slith Bloodletter. I also have 2 or 3 Diabolical Edicts, so a wall of creatures in my way becomes trivial.

EDIT: I took the color test, and I was surprised by the result, though it describes me very accurately.

I'm not the biggest Magic player but, when I do play, I'm rather partial to Green. Setting up healing cards whilst laying monster after monster before unleashing an epic tramplethon is a blast.

I love Green as well. Using your monsters to trample while laying down as much mana as you can, letting you play more and more spells each turn. Healing yourself and bashing through your opponent's defenses
