I don't have it installed at the moment, but I had a blast and a ton of laughs playing with friends.
Friendly fire incidents in other games tend to be frustrating, albeit pretty humorous.
But I can't tell you how many times we've accidentally exploded each other with hilarious misuse of spells. Oh the shield spell is such an excellent tool for griefing.
Wait for a friend to cast a beam spell.
Stand next to him, cast AOE shield.
Laugh.
Personally, I love enchanting the sword with various shield spells.
I believe one of my favs was: 1shield, 2ice, 2lightning. Swing the sword and it creates a spiky icewall that causes horrendous damage to anything nearby. I'd recommend it as a regular cast instead of a sword enchant, but thanks to it's extremely volatile nature, it's a bit easy to accidently take a step forward after casting it, and get caught in it's wrath.
Favorite magick:
Conflagration
Other favs:
Iceball (1 earth, 4ice)
^I think that was the combo. It may not be an exploding fireball, but it does MASSIVE damage especially if charged.
Water beam(1 arcane, 4 water)
^Mainly because I noticed my friends favored some variation of a lightning beam, so I got used to casting this to create that whole opposing-element explosion. Except I would tend to explode myself or my friend casting the beam as often as other monsters.
Volcanoes (1 shield, 1 earth, 3 fire)
^Good as a wall, and as a sword enchant for burning all sorts of nasty things. Can also be mixed with other elements to produce "volcanoes" that spout other things. Such as water volcanoes, frost volcanoes, etc.
Mines (1 shield, 1 arcane, +3 of any element)
^Different kinds of elements for different results.
Earthquake (3 earth, +2 of any element)
^Casting earth as an AOE does a quake that knocks enemies down. Plus an element to cause an extra effect. I like doing a waterquake to soak enemies while knocking them down, then using 5frost aoe to freeze everything around me.
