Title: Urban Reign2
Genre: Brawler RPG
Plot: Brad Hawk and some of the fighters from Urban Reign team up against a new threat in the city. Perhaps the government wants to level the "ghetto" section of the city in order to build something illegal, or something like that.

MC and MC Bio: I have no idea what this means.

Gameplay: taken straight from the original Urban Reign, with improved graphics and smooth animation...it's the people from Soul Calibur and Tekken, so not much needs to be changed.

Why is it the best ever - because people have totally ignored the brawler genre, but love RPGs. Urban Reign was like the 2nd coming of Double Dragon, but nobody made noise about it. The sequel would rock the industry and put brawlers back on the map again, but with a deeper story and more significant RPG elements.

Here's some gameplay footage from the original game. Just improve on this.

Come on OP, don't make me act like I'm on Reddit. I'm trying really hard not to question you sexual preferences right now. If you're going to start a thread at least deliver something yourself. This just feels lazy.

And you knew what? If the OP is going to be lazy, so am I. Here's my long, rambling post from a previous thread detailing one of my game ideas:

Here's how it should go down; It's an open-world action-RPG based on the first couple of seasons of Supernatural. Most of the game goes exactly like an episode of the show does - you investigate some strange deaths, and then research what the method you need to kill the creature. There are just a few things you'll absolutely need to make this process fun;

* You need to be able to get it wrong.
So that wendigo the was ripping apart people in the woods? It was actually a werewolf! Now you've got to get out of there as fast as possible, or improvise to kill it.

* The monsters should all feel very different.
Each monster shouldn't be the same - some should be creepy, some should just be dangerous - and how you take them out should feel different. A demon? Try to trick it into a devils trap and exorcise it. A ghost? Remember that level in Vampire; the Masquerade - Bloodlines? That was perfectly creepy. Each time should be different, to where they haunt to who they kill. There is some awesome folk-lore to draw from here.

* It's not all about action.
I kind of touched upon this in the last point, but it should be said twice - while some action packed monster encounters is fine (necessary, even!) I don't want to be following the same process each time - it should not be find out which monster then pick the right McGuffin to shoot it with.

* Give me multiple ways to get the information.
Let me impersonate law-enforcement officials, or just let me asking around town. Let me break in to steal records. Or let me comb through old newspapers articles. And so on, the more the better!

And there you have it - a relatively unique set of game mechanics with the possibility for wildly varied experiences - and that's not even all this game has to offer. Supernatural had a pretty iconic mixture of muscle cars and mullet rock and it was somehow perfect.

Let me pick from a decent variety of muscle cars, give me some basic customisation for it. Some licensed music would be nice but as long as you make it relatively simple for me to play my own music I'll be plenty happy. Then all you need to give me is some nice environments to look at as I move from each small town and I'll be having a ball just driving.

As for the plot - keep it simple. There's nothing wrong with chasing after a big bad monster as the core of your plot. What should happen is to bring in writers who are talented at writing memorable characters and dialogue. Bonus points for making me laugh.

Should it be in the same time/universe/etc as the TV show? No. I don't really want to see an awful cameo by any of the recurring characters or to have my actions dwarfed by those of the brothers. I just want to exploit the atmosphere and the potential of the universe for an interesting game with some cool new mechanics.

Other things I'm too lazy to expand on:

* Co-op would be kind of fun, though I'm not sure how you'd handle dialogue.
* Get rid of the under-lying sexism present in the show, or I'll be upset. Seriously, I might even mist up a little.

Edit: I'm having trouble concentration and I've noticed in quite a few places I've said the exact opposite of what I intended, so if something sounds a little odd point it out for me. Thanks!

Title: Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard
Genre: First Person survival Horror
Plot:You drop in on the frontlines of battle against Orks/Chaos/Whatever in a wartorn, barren wasteland, only for the entire rest of the unit to be wiped out. You hear on a nearby radio set that an exterminatus has been ordered and the Space Marines are being evacuated from a point a few miles away, you have to reach that point in a certain time or die with the planet.

Gameplay: Basically it involves a lot of running away from scary stuff that wants to kill, eat, torture, rape, mind control and experiment on you, sometimes all at the same time. You've got a lasgun, but it won't damage any but the weakest enemies unless you manage to hit them right in the eye socket or overload it and use it as a grenade. Maybe you could scrounge an extra gun or two from a dead unit, perhaps even a grenade launcher or a hellgun from a deceased Space Marine, but don't count on getting any extra ammo any time soon.
The enemies and allies would be randomly generated as you trek across the battlefield, weaker units will frequently spawn, stronger units less so, and what a unit attacks depends on a complex system of how much firepower the unit itself has, what it can see, how close each enemy is, how damaged, and some factors unique to certain units, (Grey Knights with a hatred of Demons will seek them out ignoring anything else that isn't directly in their way, daemonettes will purposefully seek out weaker and vulnerable units to dismember, Kharn will be just as likely to kill his own units as he would kill you. etc.)

The feel of the game should basically be you making your way helplessly through this epic battleground of gods and demons, hiding in burnt out husks of vehicles, scrounging for anything that could help you: maybe you'll get lucky and find a dead Spacemarines' hellgun, or a grenade launcher, but don't expect to find spare ammo for them any time soon.

It would all be about the atmosphere, the feel of being so vulnerable in unforgiving circumstances, the sense of awe as you see these huge beasts duking it out in front of you, knowing that if your allies fail you'll be the next victim on the list. Maybe a Leman Russ will turn up travelling in the same direction you are for a while, and you can take shelter underneath it's huge belly. Maybe even you'll catch a glimpse of the lower half of an emperor titan wading in through the smoke and clouds, and accidentally stepping on you as it makes its way to the enemy.

Why is it the best game ever?:
With little plot and a very focused mantra the game could really work on polishing its system of customising enemies and allies so every encounter is unique. You don't just come across another Space Marine unit, you come across a specific known (or unknown squad) with colour scheme, armour, AI all unique to their lore personalities. You can come across any Imperial guard units and vehicles from the lore; All will be coded into the game. Combine that with taking real effort into coding proper AI responses to enemies and friends and you've got a properly intriguing, immersive world that has something new every time you play it.

You know for these types of threads, the OP is supposed to provide something to start us all off. Starting a blank thread isn't looked kindly upon
