Make a gaming cliffhanger

If you could make a cliffhanger for a videogame (existing or your own) What would it be?

Mine would be fallout 3,The player escapes a raider camp and everything looks safe.....until they realise they've wandered into an albino radscorpion nest,fade to black and cue scuttling noises as the scorpions close in.....

So essentially the Doom '95 Demo?

Defeat first chapter's final bosses, enter teleporter.

Emerge in black room surrounded by the sounds of enmies. Lots of enemies. All shapes and sizes.
You fire blindly.

And eventually succumb.
