Well, I realize that - and true, the games would be a difference on that end. However, as a "learning tool" for students, you'd get much more out of using a Wacom then anything Wii related.
I guess it just boils down to the potential reasoning - if it's just going to be an activity for your kids - something to play games with and make "refrigerator art" then sure - it has its place; but if you're going to be giving it to a kid as a learning tool, you'd be better off getting something without a performance/feature ceiling, and starting them off with something professional. It's not like professional tablets are somehow not kid friendly - at least any more than the uDraw is.
