There are plenty of these "Make up a game" flying around, but I've never seen the same thing for consoles so...here it is!

Make up a console! It can be someting completey new, a sequel to a current console, it can be serious, stupid, whatever! What is the consoles appeal, what makes it different ect

Heres mine:

The Face! The face is a motion controlled console like the Wii, but theres a difference. You control the games with your face! You place several sensors on your face and then play the game by pulling facial expressions. Hit an enemy by pulling an angry face, talk to some by smiling, set someone on fire by pulling a manic grin ect...

This sounds exactly like the EPOC which is a console that is in development right now.

Failing that, it would be pretty cool if they could actually get virtual reality to work (I've not heard anything about it in ages, I'm taking a guess that we all just gave up on the idea), given the obsessive fascination that gamers have with realism these days VR would easily be a step foward if done right.

The one I dread seeing, but fear will exist sometime in the future: An EA console. Every single game published by them is exclusive to it, which at the point it gets made will be every game, because they're buying all the developers. . I would cry if that happened. Oh yeah, and every time you take the disc out of the machine, it will register, and after the 3rd time, your disk will be automatically deleted by the console, which will force you to buy a new game.

I can see it now. Everything goes well until ......you sneeze! aaachhooo *mad face - you shoot someone accidentally in game* omg i'm so sorry! *shocked face - game misreads as a grin and other teammate is set on fire* omg, hahahaha! *smile, you try to talk to someone who is currently on fire, and catch fire yourself*

Entire team is dead. Game over.

There is only 3 exclusives for the 360 I want on my PS3 and those are L4D, Gears 1 (2 sucks) and Mass Effect. Also, screw the shitty motion gimmick.
