i usually can't tell if a girl is wearing make-up. in hypotheticals i prefer no make-up but realistically i don't care what makes a girl attractive, but always prefer that they are.

Lipstick, perhaps.
Mascara, fine.
Eyeliner, depends on the colour.
All that sticky crap they put on their faces: blurgh!

I prefer Little to no make up... The natural look... I dont find it attractive when girls glam up usually.
However a lot of make up can make a girl look very sexy if it's done like an artform;
not blobbed on like your usual nigthclub slag.

EDIT:

If I were a girl, I'd probably be too lazy to put on all that make-up anyways.
I think that goes for most guys... especially the majority on here.

I do wear a little make up. Powder for blemishes, eye liner and mascara to make my eyes look bigger. I used to wear nothing, but even the small amount I wear does, in my opinion, make me look a bit better. It certainly makes me feel better.

On other people, it's okay, so long as it's not caked on like icing. Then it just looks gross.

I think make-up is not only ridiculous (both in price and popularity) but I also think it is detrimental to some people's self-esteem. I've noticed some of my female friends have developed... well a "dependence" on it. I have asked them several times if they would ever go out in public without make-up and I was met with horrified stares then told that they look ugly without make-up. I've seen them after they've just woken up and they look fine (and pretty much the same) to me.

In short, I think the world would be a better place without make-up.

I usually just wear powder and a bit of cheek stain, so I don't look so goddamn undead. Depends on how I'm feeling, or how much I wish to impress. Make up is fun to play with, though!

And yes, search bar blah blah blah fuck you I was here when this thread was done last.
Awesome sentence.

As for the subject. I have really stopped caring because it seems girls are born with a "make up" gene. I have yet to find a girl in my age (19ish) that doesn't wear makeup. From the biggest goth to the most carefree chick, everybody wears it. Originally it kind of bothered me since I didn't get what the hell it was about, but It's kind of faded away. For all I care it's part of their face. If I ever see one who's forgotten to put it on I just assume that "something is up with their skin today", if I notice it at all that is.

I am gonna say this though, if I ever found a girl who cared as little about makeup as I do, she would earn my eternal respect.

You should be fine.
The only person that could have been offended is me, and I'm not.

Little makeup as possible, though there is one girl at school (proper "Happy Emo" type) who wears it by the truckload. Pretty hot.

Enough damn foundation to lay a house

I think any girl who just shows off their face as is is more beautiful than any made-up model

Works either way. As long as they don't wear too much. But looks don't really matter... Okay, I know that's a bloody lie, everybody's a bit superficial, but I try to not be too shallow.

I don't like wearing much personally, and I know that most of the guys I hang around with find heavy make-up a turn-off. All I wear is a little bit of liquid foundation to cover up zit scars, and it's the right shade that nobody notices I wear it, and some lip balm. I hate eyeliner and mascara, as it's too easy to look like a sad panda, and lipstick/ gloss is just plain messy.

In my opinion make-up is an artform, and like any artform it only looks great when the artist behind it is feeling truly inspired to do it.

Most of the time I can tell when a girl wearing make-up is wearing it because she feels like she has to in order to show her face in public, and when a girl's make-up has been applied with good inspiration.

Personally I prefer women of the latter category, who only apply make-up when they have some sort of inspiration for it, but just leave their faces au natural when they don't feel inspired. The ones who might consider it fun to do sometimes, but are generally confident about their appearance anyway even without make-up.

Because make-up applied by someone ashamed of their appearance can look REALLY ugly.

Heheh, I don't wear make-up because I don't know how and it would probably look pathetic if I tried. Who says girls who don't wear make-up are confident? I just figure I'm beyond help, and I'd be kidding no one if I tried to cover up these spots :p

Confidence is sexy, if you need to cake your face in globs before you are ready to leave the house then that is unattractive both physically and mentally.

I prefer girls with little to no makeup. I also prefer girls in t-shirts and jeans so maybe I am attracted to girls who look comfortable in their own skin.
