I jump into the portal, a swirling mebagerie of color greeting me as I finally land in my destination, Vriska's h-wait...this is way too far from the ocean.

I pull out my map and slap my hand against my forehead. I'm at the desert and she's way the fuck away.

I suck it up and start walking.

 

[RaNDM G]

Xot and Sister look blankly at Eric. A shiver runs down their spines.

Xot: "So, uh... You're not going to ask why blindly jumping into another dimension is a bad idea? Cause... Cause I would totally lecture on about it. You know."

"Do you guys don't want to hear me lecture?"

Sister: "No one ever wants to hear your stupid lectures."

Xot sighs.

Xot: "No one ever wants to hear my stupid lectures."

[HEADING=1]ELSEWHERE![/HEADING]

The Fighters step out of the portal, greeted only by the cold desert wastelands of Alternia. Aside from the ocean shore, the place is barren and lifeless, almost as if the entire population were made extinct by some kind of vast glub.

You may choose to follow the shore in search of a town, or at the very least a boat to sail. Or you may wander into the desert. A trail leads off into distant mountains, though you surmise it will be a two day's trip at least.

Diane follows the group through the portal, and see's the wasteland.
"Ooh! A big sandbox! I wonder if we'll get attacked by giant cats!"

 

[Saltarius]

"Fffffuck. Diane, I don't think you understand. We are HERE. My matesprit is WAY THE FUCK OUT THERE. I've got to reach her hive before the Trolls' Session begins and everything goes to shit.?

 

[RaNDM G]

The Trolls' session has already begun. Everything has gone to shit.

 

[Wackymon]

Diane giggles, "Oh, silly! The world has already died!"
She gestures to the endless desert, showing the dead world around them.

 

[Saltarius]

"I'm the hugest badass this mall has anyways, I'm taking the mountains. Higher blood lives closer to the ocean so it can't be too far.?

The only man who could stand in my way is Hussie. And even he won't stop me.

 

[Saltarius]

"No, but it fills buckets, so it's good enough for me. I think I see a few hoofbeasts over there.?

 

[RaNDM G]

The group follows the trail into the mountains. Just as you expected, the trip is long and arduous. Sweat drips down from every pore. Grime covers your face and neck. Your feet are blistered and your ankles twisted from your advance. Alternia's sun drains your willpower, and you are physically and mentally exhausted. This slow crawl toward infinity can not end soon enough, you think, and it takes all the energy you have waiting for the sweet release of death.

Diane continues to bounce forword, and looks back to everyone, still radiating energy. If energy was heat, then they would have been able to melt lead.
"Come on!"
She continues to skip on.

 

[Saltarius]

"Fuck this exhaustion shit. I'm Saltarius Crane for fuck's sake. I can make a fuckin' trip down a fuckin' road to meet one fuckin' troll. Who's with me??

 

[Saltarius]

"Well said, comrade. You shall get all the hipster fish man you want. All of it. Diane! Sing us a rousing song of heroism! Or something..."

 

[Wackymon]

Diane begins to bounce far ahead of the group, unable to get the harp. Soon, she is out of their sight.

"Gotta be fuckin' kidding me. Wish I still had my damn suit. Those rocket boosters'd pretty handy right now. So if the Session has begun, what are we going to do when we get there?"

I take the continue option and press it so hard it jams permanently.

"I'm filling a bucket and getting that fucking tiger before we're done here."

Efink continues walking, taking occasional swigs from a water bottle, but otherwise showing no sign of exhaustion. "Damn it, I knew I forgot to carry a one somewhere..." He mutters.

 

[MinimanZombie]

I awake in a lab of sorts. Oh fuck, where am I now? I look around. Wait...Bollocks. I think I've found the trolls. Kind of.
"Hehehehe...Now I get them all to myself! Even Vriska!" I laugh maniacally. I then realize the door leading up is locked.
"Bollocks."

 

[Paddy the Second]

I wake up next to Zombie. "Should avoid doing that in future." I say, looking down at the insane cocktail of narcotics in my hand. "So we're on Alternia? Nice one."

 

[Saltarius]

"Okay, there it is, the goddam building. HEY! LET US IN!"
