You appear in Saddleblaze. It is a hot mid-afternoon, and the streets are busy with Scenesters raiding the Saloon for whatever liquor is left. The barkeep is making one Hell of a killing today.

Many of the kids have skipped town, whether to spread the spinnerettes' influence or go to some Christian rock concert, you do not know.

Smoke blooms a few miles away, back where the Mall used to be.

You get the feeling the powers that be are quite tired of your ongoing shenanigans. Now that you think about it, you can see why.

Welp, nothing to do now but sit back and soak some rays. It's not like you have a quest to do or anything.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife looks around, then walks into the Saloon. Shoving aside sever scensters, he walks up to the bar and hails the barkeep. "Whiskey, on the rocks."
I gaze at the rising column of smoke in the distance, then look around for transportation.

"I'm not one for booze... so why am I here...."
I walk outside and walk around for a bit.

 

[RaNDM G]

"Haven't seen you in here for a while," the barkeep says, already pouring your glass. He slides it over to you.

"This outpost is done. Not much left 'cept to sell stock and get the Hell out. Shastinasio is about four thousand miles north of here. Think I would get there on horseback. Where you going?"

 

[Knife-28]

Knife takes a swig of the whiskey, draining the glass in one drink. "Hmmm, where I'm going. That's a good question, with alot of answers really." Knife ponders as the barkeep pours him another drink. "I guess I'm going back to The Mall, ultimatly."

 

[RaNDM G]

"You mean what's left of it?"

 

[Paddy the Second]

I walk back to the mall and sit down in the wreckage. "Wait a second. How the fuck did this happen to the mall? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!"

 

[Knife-28]

"What's left of it....." Knife looks out at the smoke in the distance and his eyes go wide with shock. I enter the saloon only to be shoved aside be Knife, who rushes out of the saloon, jumps on a nearby horse and rides off towards the mall, leaving only a handful of gold coins in his wake. "Jeez, what's his problem?" I ask, sitting at the bar.

 

[Captain Anon]

"screw off it's not my fault and it's sable now" i rush into the bar and sit down next to knife "i'll have same as knife here whiskey"

 

[Saltarius]

"Oh for...DIDN'T WE ALREADY KILL THAT *****? WEREN'T WE DONE?"

I throw rocks at the wall. Because YOLO.

I sit on the roof of the bar.

I leap down onto the ground, and begin my trek back to the mall, not accompanied by anyone else.

"..I am not sure why this quest isn't done yet. We killed Arachnea.."

I throw rocks at the wall. Because YOLO.

I start baking a murder pie.

"I do."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"NO WOON THIS WAS ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT! YOUR QUANTUM IDIOCY BROKE REALITY! Again."

I hand Paddy some murder pie.

I stop milling around outside and take my time walking back to the mall.
