I wake up, pangs of happiness burning my chest. I rub the cut on my head.

"What are we talking about now?"

I happen across RaN as I wander the halls just in time to hear his question. "Last I heard we were still deciding whether to go to Earth or not."

"Earth? Earth is on lockdown, you can't go there."

 

[Knife-28]

"So I've heard." I say, "I don't think we've been formally introduced, I'm Knife-28. I assume you've met the other me."

 

[RaNDM G]

"Yeah. I can never get used to copies."

 

[Knife-28]

[RaNDM G]

"Randm."

 

[Knife-28]

"Huh, well that's," I reach for a pair of sunglasses, only to realise I don't have any, "Aw fuck. Ah well you can just guess what I was going to say, you must get it alot."

[Knife-28]

"Well...alright then." I say, lightly tapping my cane on the floor. "So...what's your story?"

"If you want, I've got time." I say, leaning slightly forward on my cane.

"I'm like you, I didn't come from this realm. I came from an Earth like yours, about... seven, almost eight hundred years ago. That was where I met your friend and a few other buddies."

I get up and dust myself off.

"That realm faded away. Since then I've just been fucking around, waiting for something to happen."

"Cool...Wait, when you say 'my friend' do you mean Knife?"

"Yeah."
