"Yo Sis. I'm laying low at Knife's place till' it's safe for me and Gideon. You mind coming over and helping out with him?"

"Yea, well we weren't going to let you raise him in an abandoned factory, ain't that right Knife?"
"Ahha." I yell back from the other room.

"So what do ya think he'll be like when he's older? I mean, he's mostly troll, but he's candy-red blood. And oh god what about education and and...deat god, this parenting shit takes so much out of you before it begins."

I take the cigarette out of her mouth and grind it into an ashtray.

"I'd appreciate you not doing that around my son. God, good fucking luck if I did go throygh with that. Anyways..."

I pull out a checkbook and sign my name of one of the slips, writing in 800,000,000,000 for the value. And just to make sure not to screw her over, I date it before my supposed demise.

"I'll come out with it. I was considering you for his godmother. I now see that is would have been an unwise choice."

I jog up behind the other two and stop to catch my breath.
Dumping the large briefcase on the floor in front of Sister, I turn to Salt.
"Switzerland is now a smoking crater. Turns out the entire country was made of gold just a few metres down. Anyway, The money's in the briefcase."
I make myself and Gideon smoothies.

I set fire to the breifcase and drink the smoothie.
"You're so hard to please, Sister."

I look at Sigma. "Not surprising. She isn't cutting us into pieces with forestry equipment."

I get up from the floor of the office where I've been asleep for a while. "Well. That was fun. And Salt, you want Gideon to meet Aradia? You ever hear of time travel?"

I jump.

I hand him a smoothie.
