I stop the sword, with my own, and then grab one of my hatchets, and slam it into Salts shoulder.
"There are no cheap shots in fighting. It's just fighting. Also, when did you become so noble?"
"Well to be fair, I've just had it stuck in my boiler room for ages. I remade the poison, and coated the hatchet in it. Just like old times. Anyway, this is just practice. Here's the antidote." I hand Salt a syringe.
"You know, we should probably prepare Salt for everything. One, Davesprite is going to be rather quick. Two, I think Davesprite would agree that an awesome fight needs..."
I press a button on my wrist computer.
"Some awesome music." [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-_3T3JLnoM]
I grab a fencing sabre from a nearby shop.
"How well can you fight without your hearing to help you?"
"I dunno. Go with what your gut, or your heart, or something tells you to. Look, I don't personally see what fighting D-Sprite will accomplish, and as a friend, I would say it's pointless. But, at the same time, I'll tell you, follow your heart."
"Terezi only thinks that because she smells colour. You don't, unless you're synaesthetic. And even then, you wouldn't know what colour you're smelling because you don't have the visual information to back it up. For example, our blood is red, but it tastes of iron."
"Okay then. But if you fight, then she'll probably want to impress her. Dude I hate her for the grudge thing, but I swear me and her were friends. So just apologize, properly. Just say sorry, and congratulate D-Sprite. If she doesn't like him, she'll brutally murder him anyway."
