I unscrew the gyro, and a part on a completely different section of robot starts smoking and falls off.
"I think we went wrong somewhere..." I say as I pick up the humidifier. As soon as it makes contact with the robot, the humidifier explodes.

 

[Saltarius]

"That's the third humidifier. I think we need to read the instructions again."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I nod, then pick up the instructions.
"Salt, these are the instructions for installing and operating an espresso machine. In Italian."

 

[Saltarius]

"Huh, I thought it was the instruction manual to one of those Japanese robots that play soccer."

 

[MinimanZombie]

The now super spliced pirate teleports in.
"Hello fellas!"
He begins punching things.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Nope."
I look over at the mechanical monstrosity we have created. I toss a football in its general direction, and a blast of steam sends the ball flying out of the workshop at high speed.
"It... it might be able to play football. Y'know... as a goalie."

"Wait...this is a damn swimming pool!...Okay then."

 

[Saltarius]

"I dunno, maybe we need some 'Shits Going Down' detecting robots."

I open a drawer and pull out a blueprint.
"That seems simple enough."

 

[Saltarius]

"We need filters though. The distinction between 'shit' and 'shit going down', first and foremost."

I start searching through all the parts to find everything we need.

I walk over to the swimming pool and see the spliced up pirate smashing shit. "Who the fuck are you?"

"You guys? Wait.." I sigh and rub my eyelids. "God fucking damn it."
"Look, I'm sorry that they fucked up your ship but...actually you know what, do what you like. Go fucking kill them if you want, multiple times if possible. You'd be doing me a favor."

 

[Saltarius]

I call Knife.

"I heard that."

 

[Knife-28]

"Well good on you." I say, before handing my mobile to the captain, as he called himself. "It's for you."

The pirate very carefully handles the phone before it's beside his ear.

"Yeah, hi. See, the guy who just handed you this phone is actually an intergalactic criminal we've been harboring so we could bank on his bounty, but just to appease you, we'll let you take him instead. He goes by..."

I quickly think of the worst action movie character name I can think of.

"Jack Knife. Mainly by Knife."

The pirate shoots a bolt of electricity into the pool.
"Hmm...How about, I kill all of you except for Jake Knight or whatever you said, and cash in on his bounty! It's a win-win!"
