A man in America has created plans for a fully functional AT AT.

It can only be a short time after completion before this man is leader of the world

Build a working TIE Defender and I'll be more impressed. While I love AT-ATs, those things are just walking targets. Besides, there are so many Star Wars fans that know how to take them down other than the obvious rope trick, that it wouldn't pose much of a challenge.

I want one.

Unfortunately Australian gun laws probably would mean I'd have to get blasters with reduced ammo capacity or caliber, but I think it'd still be worth it.

Awwwh, I had my money on U.S./China/Russia being the main players for WWIII, and now a private party joins the fray, and he will most likely win...
Anyone know if he's hiring?

Of all the walkers he could have made, he picked the WORST designed one imaginable (Well, maybe Dreadnoughts are as bad. But at least the don't have pencil thin legs).

Oh well. Star Wars fans rejoice.

Damn. That's going to be difficult. It's hard enough getting robots to go in straight lines without falling over, but one of that size, and the sheer weight of the thing! If they manage it, well, I tip my hat to you folks.

Tough luck, cause I call Chewie!

And calling Chewie trumps calling shotgun when it comes to placement reservation for imperial war machinery.
