I recently just watched Shoot Em Up for the first time. It isn't perhaps the greatest film, not even the greatest "man on rampage" film I've seen recently (Taken, of course) But it contained a scene where Clive Owen killed half a dozen men whilst having sex.

Now I ask you, has there been a more manly display of awesomeness on film before?

I can't think of any more awesomeness than someone who would have himself beaten to inches from death, then Crucified amongst having almost died a second time from blood loss just because he wanted you to say "I love you."

Rambo, Rocky, Die Hard, Bad Boys II...

Also try Zombie Strippers. It mixes 2 good things into 1 very good film.

I found 300...a mite camp. But it was still awesome
The others also rocked, I'll say that, but that one moment in Shoot Em Up just kicked ass

The newest Rambo movie was pretty manly. Well, the end when the action finally happened was manly anyway. Rambo actually pulls off such feats as punching a man's head off, using a jeep mounted machine gun to kill the driver of said jeep, and using a land mine to set off a very huge bomb and then outrunning the subsequent explosion.

Shoot'em Up, manly as hell. Story was ridiculous, but who cares, you have a guy who kills people with carrots.

Man on Fire. Manly, you have the father figure guy beating ass all over Mexico to get the girl back.

Taken. Manly, well, if you're a dad it's pretty manly. Mostly because you want to believe that you can do all that for your kid.

Any Rambo movie, I swear when he started owning face in the latest one ( you know the one where stalon reshaped the fat in his body to look like muscle?) I just had the urge to stand up in my seat and scream

YEAAAHHHH!!! RAMBO!!! GET SOOOMMMMEE!!!!

I agree taken was a surprisingly good rampage movie, not something I was expecting.

But the manliest thing I have seen in a movie might have to go a shit movie called hard times. Christian Bales character injects vinegar up his "vas deferens" to fool a drug test.

The manliest movie in total for me goes to Rambo. The movie case is coated in testosterone for that extra glimmer.

HEAT

Robert deNiro, Al Pacino, sharp suits, bank jobs and awesome gunfights.
Manly, but without the campness generated by muscle mary's.

Incidentally, the director is Micheal MANN
