Before people scream necrophilia or hopeless romantic, you should read the article. Even his friend said he did it because he was trying to right a wrong, however odd it might be.

Of course, it's still a matter of perspective.

If its pretty much certain they were gonna get married, but the accident ended her life before they could, then that's quite alright and I'd say even romantic really, otherwise its kinda creepy :/

But alas, my focus was on the article misspelling wedding-come-funeral as wedding-CUM-funeral.

... :D

Actually, I think it might be correct. The word cum is Latin for the preposition with. Its meant to be read as wedding with funeral. Even then, its not even pronounced as come, like the sexual ejaculation, but rather like koom if that makes any difference. Then again, its been about a year since I took Latin in High School so...I don't know.

OT: Eh, people have done weirder things when its come to marriage.

Lordy, Lordy. I suppose there's nothing...technically wrong with it. I know if I went to a funeral like that, I'd object haha.

You can't spell 'funeral' without 'fun' :)

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Wait.

Hold on.

Dead people can get married, but gays can't?

And oh, gods, I just know NAMBLA(thunderclap) is going to spin this into something awful. "Children can't consent, but neither can the dead and they can marry!"

That hasn't happened yet, but I want to kill myself before it does.
Dibs. Its about time I settled down with someone.

True that. People have married virtual people and pillows. But I still find this creepy.

Uhhhh....with a gay person, a dead person, or a child?
Errr...I should have been clearer, I was calling dibs on your dead body when you kill yourself. Humour failed:)

...The honeymoon is not going to be pleasant but hey, everyone like to crack open a cold one on occasion, right?

wedding-CUM-funeral makes this so very wrong...
No, that's right. You just discovered why you never see it written down.

That's not a misspelling [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cum]. Cum is latin for "with" and is used in english to join two nouns; Don't let proper writing be ruined for you by popular slang.
Not everybody knows what the proper latin is. And for that matter, why use latin at all? I think it was just crass humor that I very much enjoyed.

Damnit, exactly what I was thinking...

I suppose it'll put the fun in funeral.
