Saw this earlier and didn't really know what to think, at least he can use his cat as a rescue vehicle now for saving people lost at sea. Think about it, you have been taken out by the current and you are not sure you will survive, but then suddenly you see this cats face coming towards you over the horizon, you think its a mirage but soon enough you are riding it back to civilisation. Godspeed Copter Cat, Godspeed *salutes*.

Find something creepy in using a corpse in that manner, I guess its because the body is still whole and recognizable (when i see a furcoat, i won't have same reaction), what with the head and eyes and everything... *shivers*

Thought for 1/2 a sec if maybe I would entertain the idea of doing that to my own lovely kittens after they die as a way to preserve them but no... I find that thought way too disturbing. Rather let them die and keep a lock of hair as souvenir.

I highly doubt that cat wanted his/ her corspe to be made into a helicopter. Honestly I don't know what to make of this as it's obviously it's distasteful for some people out there.
Wouldn't you rather be reborn as a helicopter? Beats being dead any day to me.

That's smart - even if the helicatper suffers a technical failure, or is shot down or wahtever it would still land on its feet.
This is genuinely how I laughed at reading that:

Agreed. it's disgusting, and it's desecrating the body of an animal.
I'm guessing that if you feel that way you must be vegan?
No, to me desecrating an animal's body is using it for amusement, not sustenance.
Going to have to disagree. If you're unhappy with your body being eaten after death, it's desecration, we do it to animals and they're tasty as hell - just admit you're doing something perhaps they might not've wanted.

The idea that a cat would think, let alone care what will happen to their corpse after they die is almost as absurd as this.

I got a good laugh out of this (especially while watching the final test video with Ride of the Valkyries posted above), but damn, what kind of guy would do this?

What in the Sam Hell? Initially I thought I'd be watching a video of a fringe case with some mental disorder, but I was strangely angered to see a supportive crowd. I'm not a cat lover by any means, but this is just creepy.

If the cat's dead, do whatever you want to the body. It's dead. It ain't gonna care.

When I die, you can do WHATEVER you want to my body. I'm not using it anymore. I'm dead. What do I care about the shell that held my mind? My body's only important to me when my brain is active and alive. Once all neurological activity ceases in my brain and I'm dead, my body is useless to me.

Who cares about corpses? They don't have feelings. They don't have emotions. They can't sense pain.

For the record, when I die, you can scoop out my organs, fill my body with candy, flash-freeze it and then hang it up as a pinata and invite kids to whack baseball bats at my corpse until candy falls out. And I won't care! I'm dead!

Dead is dead, no matter the species. The cat ain't gonna care. He or she is dead already. Corpses have no rights.

I mean it LOOKS hilarious, but when you think about it, someone gutted a cat and replaced its organs with helicopter workings. Its......ugh.

Taxidermists are weird and shall always remain weird. Chuck Testa didn't become known for his normality. Whatever floats your boat, but I can't take people seriously if they like gutting apart animals for fun.

To be perfectly honest, it's less offensive than a furcoat since the cat wasn't killed just to be made into a helicopter for sake of someone's vanity. People have hunting trophies on walls, bear rugs by fireplace and shoes from crocodile skin, so why not copters made of cats?

Ah the Daily Mail. Such a mix of hate and randomness has never really been matched.

Anyway, I think it's kinda cool, and it isn't hurting anyone, since the cat died in an accident. Desecration is a stupid notion. A dead thing won't care what you do to its body. I might give mine to Science

I expected much more butthurt people going "BUT DAH CAT DESERVES RIGHTS!", it's dead and the owner didn't kill it to make this helicopter so it's perfectly fine. It's weird yes, but what fun is their in simply burying your pets when you have the skills to make them into helicopters! I laughed at the video, a lot.
