Hey peeps.
So I recently bought a copy of 'L.A. Noire' from a shop,(On a disc, I feel like a caveman) installed it onto my computer and hit the 'Play LA Noire!' button.
At which point it crashed, because I didn't want to install Rockstar Social Club.
So I installed RSC.
And then it said: "BEEP BOOP, GAME NOT PATCHED, MANDATORY PATCHING IN PROGESS"
And then sat there for 20 minutes making itself look pretty. Or twiddling its thumbs for all I know.
Now my problem is not the patch itself, but rather the forcing me to install it immediately when I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE F***ING GAME.
So, Escapists, how do you feel about games that make you wait an age in these enlightened times?
