As title says I am feeling like discussing Full Metal Panic manga. If you have only seen the anime you might be confused. Also, if they make the rest of the manga into an anime (If we are lucky) spoilers ahoy!!
I was reading the latest manga and a thought occurred too me. We know Sagara is about 16 but because of the plane crash we do not know his exact date of birth. We also know that the whispered might not even know they are that special. An example is Nami, she built and maintained a Savage model AS by herself. Only later, in a telepathic communication with Kaname, do we learn that Nami was also a whispered.
Now back to Sousuke Sagara, we know he is technically smart. A highly skilled AS pilot, knows the AS system in and out, can defeat enemy AS units even when his AS does not have usable legs or a firearm, in other words extremely above average, to the prodigy level even.
Since we know all of the Whispered were born at the exact same minute. and the fact that Sagara is the same age as all the whispered, and that everything is connected it would seem. Then Sagara might very well be a Whispered himself.
I am up to chapter 60 of Full Metal Panic Sigma. Also, I read an English translation.
