Guyver was possibly THE MOST disappointing and biggest piece of crap anime I've ever watched! And I, for some ungodly reason, watched Colorful! (look it up) All over the case it says "hyper violence, you'll never see anything like it!" Excel Saga's violence is more hyper violent! [/rant]

What version did you watch, the 1980's OVA version, or the new one?

I've watched the orginal version, and it wasn't too bad.

I don't know much about the new one, but i heard they changed alot of scenes, and it's no way near as good.

Then their's the live action American version...Dear god.

I don't know much about the new one, but i heard they changed alot of scenes, and it's no way near as good.

New one. It was plastered "Hyper violence" all over the box set. Maybe the old was better, I don't know but when I see Hyper Violence, I think Gantz, Hellsing Ultimate or Elfen Lied. Guyver was a lot closer to Pokemon than anything.

Seriously!? that sucks, and here was me thinking that i was going to purchase it, because I had fond memories of the orginal Guyver series.

I have to agree with the Fist of the North Star crowd, it's really not much of a contest.
