Have only cried at two films.

Toy Story 3, when Andy is talking to the toys for the very last time. Was in the cinema with four friends, two of whom also cried. Heck, the other two were the only people in the showing who weren't crying! The place was packed with little kids and parents!

Forrest Gump, when he's reading the letter that Forrest Jr. wrote for Jenny at her grave. When he says 'I love you Jenny'...I couldn't hold it in.

Also the series finale of Friends. I was 11. Not entirely sure why I cried at that.

Honourable mention goes to the ending of Red Dead Redemption and the first 10 minutes of Up. They were scenes in which I felt a lump in my throat and I felt like I was going to cry, but didn't. Wish I had though, they were two scenes worthy of my tears.

The death scene in the Lion King. I always cry at that, or the part in the first pokemon movie when Ash is turned to stone. :(

Damn, how do you have 500 posts already when you only joined on October 5th?
By posting fifteen times a day. Not too hard.

After all, I got 12000 posts in less than three years, which needs an average of eleven posts a day, and I consider myself a lurker half the time.

i don't cry. i speed cry. it's a lot more manly and a lot more awesome. one tear escapes the eye, leaving no trail. at most, one whimper. done in a second. that's speed crying.

i speed cried 120 times consecutively when i found out that the last twilight movies will be just that; movies. i feel it was justified.

I cried when Kutner died in House and more recently when the intern died in Bones. Also, Toy Story 3.

I cried when my first gf died, if that counts as a manly tear.

...

I remember crying when old yeller got put down. And then I remember whne my first dog died I shed a few tears.

...

I try not to cry too often. My grandfather always had a saying that "if you have to cry, you should only shed a single tear, or you'll wash away the memories".

Spoiler alert sorry.

I think he is referring either to the part where andy plays with his old toys, or the part where the almost all die.

Oh man, now you got me tearing up just remembering that episode... ;___;

For me it's a good chunk of season four of Battlestar Galactica with namely the series finale making me flat out break down in tears during the second half. I swear, less than five minutes left in the show's run and freaking Baltar of all people just makes me lose it and break down, tears and sobbing when he sadly speaks about his past "I know about farming...". It's so bad I can't even watch the ending on my ipod in public for fear of breaking down in tears.

Fucking Clannad after story.
That flower field scene.

To my credit, that was the only time. And only one tear.

Why does Clannad have only two mentions in this thread excluding mine?
That is not acceptable.
Oh god. Clannad, so, so much. And After Story. I cry like a ***** at so many scenes.

I get so emotional at many scenes in Let The Right One In ofcourse... and other films. Like Shawshank and so many others.

Recently I got watery eyes from the book, The Passage.

And Radiohead always moves me to really watery eyes.

Well, for me, my manly tears are restricted to Christmas. Specifically, a song that ALWAYS seems to find me during the holidays.

It might not have as much impact right now, but I'll post it anyways.

My Little Dashie, first time in so many years. And also the funeral scene in Full Metal Alchemist, that was pretty emotional.
